The Long Wait is Finally Over! More pictures of Matthew!!!

To all of our millions of viewers, we're sorry we haven't put this update out sooner! As you can imagine (if you have a child), you do not have a great deal of free time with a little one in the house. Anyway, here we are. We won't be able to detail everything he has done over the last 4 months, but some of the highlights (in no particular order):

Matthew is a very, very happy baby. He loves to laugh and finds almost everything amusing. He rarely gets upset unless he is hungry or tired. (He HATES to go to bed). He still gets swaddled for sleeping, but works his way out during the night.

He also loves to talk (although we have a hard time understanding him). He will spend all day talking to anyone that will listen.

He started daycare a few months ago and, after a rough patch, seems to enjoy it. He made it through his entire first week before he came home with a cold!

He started watching football. Unfortunately we forced him to watch the Texas Longhorns- it was the wrong year to start that!

He went to his first movie with his mother and GiGi.

He is rolling over on his own.

He loves playing with his feet.

He loves playing with anything within his reach.

He loves putting anything within his reach in his mouth.

He loves playing with the dogs. He finds them hilarious, especially pulling on Charlie's hair.

He has had numerous occupational therapy sessions for torticollis. His neck has improved, but still needs a little work.

He ate rice cereal for the first time. Next up is squash.

He loves playing in his exersaucer and jumperoo.

He is big. He is over 18 pounds and has been wearing 6-12 month clothes from about 4 months on.

He usually sleeps through the night (since about 2 months old).

He was Christened. His godparents are Uncle Ben (not the ricemaker) and Aunt Julie.

It took until he was about 5 months old, but he now goes out in the sun without flipping out.

He met Santa Claus (picture below).

There is probably more, but that's all we can think of now. Time for Matthew to go to bed. So enjoy the random pictures below (for some reason the date of the photo did not come up, so these are in no particular order).
